Apple is now testing larger displays for use with future iPhone and iPad devices, a recent reports suggest.
In a bid to offer more choice to its fan base and better compete with other smartphone manufactures, Apple is believed to now be actively engaged in developing a variety of different size iPhone models ranging from 4-inches right up to 5.7-inches.
The report suggests production on the iPad 5 will begin ramping up in July and August. The iPad 5 will use the same 9.7-inch display as the iPad 4 but will feature a slimmer bezel similar to what’s employed on the iPad Mini.
Apple’s new line of devices are expected to launch later this quarter with a release date to follow shortly after.
