Nokia have officially announced the Nokia Lumia 625 and bring with it the largest touchscreen display of any Lumia to date. With a 4.7″ screen and LTE connectivity, you can expect high-quality surfing and viewing of videos and images while on the move.
The Nokia Lumia 625 is a Windows Phone 8 smartphone is for those looking to get the latest features at a fraction of the cost of other top end phones. The 4.7″ IPS display offers up the standard 800 x 480-pixel resolution which is lower that other smartphone with a similar screen size.
Powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM, the Nokia Lumia 625 is very much a mid-range smartphone. It comes with 8GB of internal memory and microSD slot with support for up to 64GB cards. There is also the standard 7GB of SkyDrive online storage for the backup of your files.
The Lumia 625 comes with a 5-Megapixel camera that offers LED Flash and autofocus as well as support for Cinemagraph , Panorama, Smart Camera and Nokia Glam Me. However, the big difference comes in the form of video with Full HD 1080p video recording at 30fps. There is also a front-facing VGA camera.
Nokia Lumaia 625 connectivity is handled by USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0+ LE, WiFi, A-GPS and Glonass.
The 625 is powered by a 2000 mAh battery which offers up to 15.2 hours of talk time in 3G mode, up to 23 days of standby time and up to 90 hours of music playback.
The price of the Nokia Lumia 625 is expected to be around £200 and will be available within the next few months.
